Sometimes, I Hate Activism

Activism is having a moment now. While it’s nothing new, it seems more mainstream now. Since the dawn of time, various forms of activism have existed and continue to exist today. Whether reproductive rights, LGBT rights, labor rights, or any other movement, it feels like all of these issues should have been solved. So, why the hell do we still have to fight?

Honestly, some days I hate activism. I wonder if there is a point. In 2024, these battles should have been fought. Some days, it just feels pointless and I wonder why I bother. I wonder if it’s worth the stress that I have felt…
